Finnish rockers Santa Cruz are set to release their debut album 'Screaming For Adrenaline' on April 26th through Spinefarm Records. The album's first single "Relentless Renegades" will hit the airwaves later this month with a music video to follow. The album follows the band's critically acclaimed 2011 six song EP 'Anthems For The Young 'N' Restless'.
The band stated at SleazeRoxx.com, "We used as producer this guy named Ilkka Herkman who was fuckin' great and the album is gonna be an honest in-your-face hard rock album. One thing we did that makes it sound more like a band playing is that it was mostly recorded live in the studio."
Santa Cruz was formed by Johnny and Archie during the hot summer of 2007. With the mutual dream of playing their asses off and kickin' peoples butts, they had the same goals and the same passion for the band. The name Santa Cruz was chosen to be the title of their vision of a perfect hard rock band. Middy found his way to play the bass in the beginning of 2008 and a year and a half and two drummers later Taz was found to fill the drummers seat permanently. Now the Cruz boys are gigging regularly and are trying to grow their reputation in the Finnish rock 'n' roll scene.
