M.ILL.ION / SANE AND INSANITY (2011)

M.ILL.ION. is celebrating twenty years in the music business. One of Sweden's finest act's M.ILL.ION releasing their brand new album titled "Sane And Insanity". This is the band's seventh album and after all these years in the music scene the boys know how to make a solid effort!

Their music is strong and melodic, catchy, with the nessecery ballads and an overall solid production. You can hear some influences from Gotthard, Whitesnake, 7 Gates but, also, some Deep Purple elements as well. So, we are talkin' about a band that achieves to mix the classic hard rock sound with some heavier elements and the result is this very good album. Tracks like, the first single, “Everyday Hero”, “Tomorrow Never Dies”, “I Raise My Glass”, "Hate", the amazing mid-tempo title track and the melodic killer tune of "Fuel To My Heart", are all some fine examples of pure melodic hard/heavy rock tunes that will make happy every single fan of this gerne!

All in all this is a very good album. It has some great tunes, plenty of catchy choruses and hooks, melodies and all the power and strength to make it to the top! The new guitar player, Andreas Grövle, does a superb work as it concerns to some really impressive solos and riffs! Last but no least we have to mention that the production in this album is made by Martin Kronlund.
