A very good debut album from this German act. I really like this band a lot. All their albums are full of good songwritting, nice melodies but most of all fantastic guitar work! Maybe 'State Of Rock' is not my favourite album from Frontline but is an overall very strong effort. It has all the things that a melodic hard rock fan could ask. It has power, heavy but still melodic solos and riffs, a very good vocalist, catchy choruses and a Journey feeling in all over their music. I think that Frontline, Fair Warning and Jaded Heart are three excellent examples of high quality European melodic hard rock. So if you haven't discovered this great band yet, the next thing that you have to do when you are going to visit a cd store, is to find any of their albums.....and get them (all!!!).
