Frontline / Right Attitude (2000)

A melodic hard rock perfection? I don't know about you, but for me this album is one of my favourites in this gerne. It's one of these albums that grabs you from the very first moment of listening with its melodies. And, when I say melodies I mean huge melodic hard rock tracks full of catchy choruses, melodic hook lines, emotional vocals and an amazing guitar work from Robert Boebel and Chris Lausmann (Bonfire). 'Right Attitude' was the band's third effort, in 1997 was 'Heroes', and for me this was an excellent one. The guitar parts were 'ballsier' with more attitude and some really impressive leads and solos, the vocals by Stephan Kaemmerer were better and overall the band was tighter than ever. 'Shelter Me' is the album's first big track. It has a nice rhythm and a melodic chorus that stuck in your mind. 'Who's Crying Now' is an up-tempo feel good track with a huge hook and a chorus to die for. One of the best tracks that Frontline have ever recorded. 'On the Run' is a more commercial rockin' tune while 'Time to Dream' is the absolute gem. It has a heavier Journey feeling all over the song and a really nice chorus. 'Tonight We Set...' is just brilliant, is a very rhythmic track with a stunning melody! All in all this is an album that will please every fan of pure melodic hard rock sound. Also this is a big must have for all the fans of the heavier Journey. One of my favourite albums ever.
