REVIEW : DEMOTIONAL, Scandinavian Aftermath (AFM Records, Release Date : May 26, 2023)

Demotional is a modern melodic metal band that since its creation it has released three full-length albums, it toured and participated in many big festivals and achieved to 'build' a strong reputation around its name in the modern melodic metal world! 

The debut, "State: In Denial" released back in 2013. With album number two, "Trassis" (2014) the band achieved to win its participation as the main support on DEAD BY APRIL's European tour and also did its own headline shows in Russia. "Discovery" was released in 2017 and nowadays the time has come for Demotional's newest opus entitled "Aftermath" through AFM Records. 

The two things that describes Demotional's music is the power and the melody!! And, even if I prefer more melodic rock/hard rock stuff through the years, I have to admit that Demotional's music really shakes me and makes me wanna turn on the volume on 10!!! The agressivity along with these extremely melodic lines create a perfect combination ready to explode through your speakers! The choruses are big, powerful and in-your-face and the sure thing is that after the first spin of "Aftermath" you are gonna beg for more!!!
