REVIEW : BROTHER AGAINST BROTHER, Brother Against Brother (Frontiers Music s.r.l. Release: 11 June 2021)

BROTHER AGAINST BROTHER is the brand new collaboration between two stunning Brazilian vocalists, Renan Zonta (Electric Mob) and Nando Fernandes (Sinistra). Under the banner Brother Against Brother, Zonta and Fernandes deliver a brilliant, exciting melodic metal duets album on their self-titled debut (through Frontiers Music), which is due June 11, 2021.

Renan Zonta says, "Being involved in this project and getting to sing metal is beyond amazing. Ale is a multi-talented beast, great songwriter, wonderful producer, and one of the biggest hearts I've ever met. Besides that, sharing vocals with the one and only Nando Fernandes is an honor. This debut kicks-off impressively with the powerful and very melodic tune of "Two Brothers". Powerful and passionate vocals, edgy but, still, melodic guitars and an ass-kickin' chorus line are enough to make you sing-a-long this track for days. Next, "What If" is yet another stunning song with the same passion, the same impressive vocal performances and with yet another cacthy hook. Excellent stuff! 

The epic "City Of Gold", the amazing straight forward "Haunted Heart", which is a killer one, and the beautiful and very emotional "In The Name Of Life" are all great samples of this true great collaboration. The heavier and very DIO-esque "Whispers In Darkness" is huge while in "Valley Of The Kings" the band is delivering yet another cool, up-tempo and very melodic metal track.  

If you love the ALLEN/LANDE project, then look no further; BROTHER AGAINST BROTHER is a must add to your collection. A true great release from Frontiers Music that features powerful and in-your-face performances, amazing arrangements, heavy guitars, a tight as hell musicianship and excellent songs!
