U.K. modern hard rock band of ACE MAFIA premiered back in 2009 with its debut opus titled "Vicious Circle". The band consisted of Geos Letona, Richie Faulkner, Bruno ‘The
Cat’ Agra and Kay Ghibli. After the release of "Vicious Circle", the band played in some live gigs.
Nowadays ACE MAFIA releasing its brand new EP that features, also, Richie Faulkner (on lead and rhythm guitars). Richie is now a member of the legendary metal band of Judas Priest.
Although the album only contains four tracks, it is a killer one! The sound of Ace Mafia is powerful hard rock with emphasis on loud guitars, the in-your-face vocals and the tight as hell rhythm section that can tear your house down. In some parts, Ace Mafia reminds me of Adrenaline Mob.
All four songs are well-played, well-performed and with a big and ballsy sound and must be played on maximum volume. But, if I had to choose one song from this EP, this would be the amazing "Face To Face". Man, this is a really huge melodic modern metal monster! The melody, the 'darker' vibe and the chorus line are all just perfect.
If you love your hard rock ballsy, melodic and aggressive with a strong modern vibe in it, then ACE MAFIA will make your day!!
