Defying Gravity is a new project/band that was founded by Australian songwriter
Darren Phillips and, nowadays, it presents its brand new single that is pure melodic hard rock bliss. The band, also, features some well-known musicians that contributes to this really amazing project. The track was written and produced by Darren along with
Dan Skeed, musician and owner of Sydney production studio Skeed Music, recorded in Stockholm Sweden, Melbourne and Sydney Australia and then was engineered and mixed at Skeed Music. The mastering was then completed by the legend of the melodic rock world
Harry Hess in his studio in Vancouver Canada. The tune "
Defying Gravity" features some excellent and passionate vocals by
Robin Ericsson, a guitar work to die for and a chorus line to sing-a-long for days. For sure, this small taste is something breathtaking and something to keep our eyes to in the near future. Can't wait to hear more from this band in the future!!!
A big 10 out of 10 for this gem of a track!!!
