AXS (pronounced Access) TV has grown to be a top contender in the entertainment news and broadcasting realm, recently featuring some of LA’s highest grossing tribute acts and featured venues, offering the rest of the world a front row seat where music happens. In it’s third season, AXS has stepped up their game, shifting the focus from Tribute Acts to major headliners including Kiss, Aerosmith, Prince, the Beastie Boys and on March 18th, Dennis DeYoung. Where the programs had been previously filmed in smaller venues that include the Sunset Strip’s most attended locations, such as the Roxy and Whisky a Go-Go; the Dennis DeYoung performance at the El Rey Theater takes their programming to a new level of authority, capturing an historical event in the making.

The El Rey Theater has been a fixture on the Los Angeles landscape, marking its territory on the miracle mile segment of Wilshire Blvd. with an ornate art-deco street facing marquee; the El Rey Theater has been an entertainment staple since in Hollywood the 1930s.
