HAREM SCAREM / HUMAN NATURE (2007)

After the overall good "Overload" album it's time for Harem Scarem to go back to some more classic melodic rock paths with "Human Nature". Yes, this album has everything that an average melodic rock fan wants; memorable choruses, catchy songs, amazing performances and a solid guitar work from one of the best guitarists out there!



The album starts perfectly with "Human Nature". This is a good rocker with a huge chorus line!! "Next Time Around" is as commercial as it gets. It has a nice melody and shows the abilities of this band to write a catchy pop-rock tune. "Caught Up In Your World" is one of my personal Harem Scarem tunes ever. This is an extremely emotional tune and features a great guitar work. "Reality" is a classic HS tune while "Hanging On" is a huge ballad!! "Don't Throw It Away" is ok and "Give Love Get Love" is rather average. "21" is a very good 'modern' rocker, "Starlight" is a highlight and "Going Under" is a brilliant modern catchy rocker. "Tommorow May Be Gone" closes the album magicaly!!

This is a great album and the return of Harem Scarem to the classic melodic rock paths.
