Epic,
loud, catchy, with an attitude and crystal clear production reminiscent of early
80's bands, early 90's, Eclipse's new album, "Bleed & Scream" is here to rock our world for good!! These Swedes who blew our mind with the simply stunning "Are You Ready To
Rock" and made us remember the headbanging, are back to offer us another great example of pure melodic hard 'n' heavy piece!!!!
Eclipse here continue from where they left it with "Are You Ready To Rock" and continue with more power and passion, without unnecessary and fashionable things to offer us another musical gem like "Bleed & Scream". And when you have in your board musicians like Erik Martensson, who has written songs for artists like Jimi Jamison, Giant and is responsible for the super project WET, then you have the success in your pocket!
From the first notes of "Wake Me Up" everybody understands what is to follow! Melodic heavy rock with amazing guitar work and a chorus that you want to hear again and again!!! Next, we have the first single from the album, the very melodic tune of "Bleed & Scream". Brilliant orchestrations in one of the top songs on the album! The guitar-driven "Ain't Dead Yet" and "Battlegrounds" to follow the first 'quiet' moment on the disc; "Bitter Taste" which is a song that could easily be in any album of the 'new' Whitesnake!! The solo in this song is really huge!!! "Falling Down" is another Whitesnake-esque track and "SOS" is one of the most commercial tunes here. "Take Back The Fear" and "Unspoken Heroes" are both very good pieces of in-your-face heavy rock while "About To Break" is another kick ass tune!!!. The album ends as it began with another highlight!! The "After The End Of The World" is perhaps the crowning moment of a very great album!
Words are not enough for releases like this one! Just wonderful and a must have for every fan of melodic hard 'n' heavy!!
