Vince Neil / Carved In Stone (1995)

Second album from Vince Neil, after his huge debut album, but this time the final result is a bit average! Far, far away from the anthemic and bombastic sound of the debut, "Carved In Stone" shows a darker and a more modern sound. Even if  the opener "Breakin' In The Gun" kicks some ass, the rest of the album, except a couple of tracks, is average!! It's not only that this one is far away from the debut sound, it also is far away from Motley's sound. I said many times and I will say it again and again that I'm with the artists side when they want to move forword, I think that it's good for an artist to experiment. But when the final result is average or bad then it's a problem. I also understand that in that time Vince was going through a rough time in his life. So, bottom line is that this is an average album with some good enough tunes. That's all.
