This is a great melodic metal album. This project is the result of the collaboration between Mark Boals(Yngwie Malmsteen, Ring Of Fire) and guitarist/composer Magnus Karlsson. Strong melodies and catchy choruses in the vain of Allen/Lande project, Magnus Karlsson continues his fantastic work as a producer/composer/guitarist!! The album opens with a great track entitled "Beyond The Dark" with Mark Boals' voice sounds amazing." Bring Down the Moon" is excellent while "Dream Makers" and "Whole Again" are some more atmospheric not so heavy tunes with brilliant choruses."Mistress Of Death" has a heavy riff with some modern low tuned guitars in it, different but not bad at all!And one of the best tracks of the album must be "Prisoner" with a fantastic slower melody tempo and the passionate vocals from M. Boals..an amazing song!!!
I'm a big fan of Karlsson's works, Starbreaker and Allen-Lande, this guy is one of the best guitarists/composers nowdays!! Magnus shows some amazing skills here and the songs are full of catchy choruses and melody lines.8,5/10
