Giuffria / Silk + Steel (1986)

Pretty good melodic hard rock effort with some Journey elements most of the time.

Even if the singer David Glen Eisley has a great voice, though, the final result is a bit average! "Silk and Steel" is more polished and more commercial than their debut album was. There is a perfect balance between the hard rockin' tunes and the mid-tempos/ballads, but, as I said the final result doesn't pleased me!

"Change of Heart" is one of my favourite tracks from this album. Other highlights here are: "I Must Be Dreaming", which was the band's big hit-single,"No Escape" and "Dirty Secrets", which both are notable as well. An average album.
6/10
