Winding Road recruited singer Jonas Tyskagen (Domino Drive) and began writing songs that would be included in an album. So, the debut self-titled record released in 2021on AOR Heaven.
"Hang Tough", "Devil's Daughter" and "Closer To The Truth" are all three some excellent samples of pure, melodic and straight-forward AOR stuff that the sure thing is that will thrill every single fan of this genre. All three tracks are pure melodic rock bliss with some breathtaking harmonies, melodies and choruses that will stuck in your mind at once. The guitar-driven (with its excellent guitar solo in it) "Healing Touch" is just killer and the epic and more hard rockin' 6-minute track of "Jackie Lee" is top stuff!!
Nowadays, the band is ready to release its brand new album entitled "Fill My Sails" through Pride & Joy Music (18th October).
The first highlight comes too early with the opening tune of "Close My Eyes In Tokyo". A great AOR gem that features a really amazing melody in it, the necessary catchy hook and chorus and some excellent performances. A great apetizzer for what's to follow next. The edgy "Fill My Sails" is yet another killer track while in "I'll Give My Heart To You" we are dealing with again a solid melodic rock anthem.
A true killer melodic rock/AOR album by Winding Road that really comes out of nowhere! A top-notch musicianship, breathtaking melodies, great guitars and most of all great tracks in this little gem. Mark the day on your calendar and grab it!
