The new opus is going to see the light of day this December 9th. As in his previous solo recordings, Moratti continues to deliver emotional, soulful and classic AOR stuff in a unique way. Moratti has a charismatic voice that can rocket high every single track. With a strong team of musicians such as Joel Hoekstra on lead guitar, Tony Franklin on bass, Felix Borg on drums (and co-writing), Fredrik Bergh on keys (and co-writing), Ulrick Lönnqvist, Steve Augeri, and Pete Alpenborg (who also contributes rhythm guitar and keyboard) Rob creates one of his best solo albums to-date!!
The first highlight comes with "Masquerade"! A true AOR gem with a huge chorus line and a 'punchier sound! "Nothing Left To Say" is simply a great commercial pop-AOR gem that is among my personal favourites out of the new opus. "Valerie", "Hold On", "Stay The Night" and "Love" are all amazing samples of pure melodic rock paradise!! In "You Keep Me Waiting" we are dealing with yet another killer AOR gem while in "Strangers" Rob delivers a great and edgier tune.
For sure, ROB MORATTI with his brand new work comes to deliver one of the best, if not the best, AOR record of 2022!!! This is how AOR should be played!!! Well done!!!
