The Italian melodic hard rock band of Wheels Of Fire returns back in business with its brand new opus entitled "Begin Again" this June through Art Of Melody Music & Burning Minds Music Group. With two already solid records on their sleeves (Hollywood Rocks and Up For Anything), Wheels Of Fire strikes back with their best album to date.
"Begin Again" also introduces the band's new keyboard player, Federico De Biase and represents a big step forward in the quality of the songwriting provided by the original combo, Davide "Dave Rox" Barbieri (Vocals) and Stefano Zeni (Guitar). The new opus also includes a guest list of some excellent musicians such as Pierpaolo "Zorro" Monti (Raintimes, Shining Line, Charming Grace), Gianluca Firmo (Room Experience, Firmo), Maryan on backing vocals and Marcello Spera on backing vocals just to name a few.
The new opus kicks-off with the amazing, fistful and in-your-face rocker of "Scratch That Bitch". A track that shows an edgier more U.S. flavored direction that I really love! Excellent start. "Lift Me Up" shows more groove and includes a totally mid-80's hair metal feeling while in "Tonight Belongs To You" the band delivers a super catchy commercial tune. "Done For The Day", "Keep Me Close" and "You'll Never Be Lonely Again" are all solid, up-tempo and with plenty of melodies tracks and, of course, all three are great samples of Wheels Of Fire music. The powerful mid-tempo tune of "Call My Name" with its Bon Jovi-esque vibe is yet another highlight out of the new opus.
Wheels Of Fire is back with a great album all the way. "Begin Again" is an opus full of big melodies, memorable hooks n' choruses, great guitar work and this sweet late 80's hard rock vibe. If you loved the band's previous two albums, you'll love this one too! As I already mentioned above, "Begin Again" is the band's best release to-date. Highly recommended!
