Sebastian Bach / Angel Down (2007)

This is the second, in fact the first full after the "Bring 'Em Bach Alive!" which included only 5 new songs,  album from Sebastian Bach. My feelings for this one are mixed. Skid Row are one of my all time favourite bands and Sebastian Bach was one of the last true rock stars of the pre-Nirvana hard-rock era.
For sure this one is not a classic one as Skid Row's first two releases, it is heavier in the vain of "Subhuman Race" and maybe heavier than "Subhuman Race"!!Also this album features guest vocals from Guns 'N' Roses frontman Axl Rose in 3 songs, the great cover of Aerosmith's classic tune "Back In The Saddle",the single "(Love Is)A Bitchslap" and "Stuck Inside". "Negative Light" is maybe the heaviest song that Bach's ever recorded, it's  real heavy and aggressive!!!!!"Live & Die" is a pretty good one tune while "By Your Side" is a slower one in the vain of Skid Row's "Wasted Time" and it's an amazing song!
"Our Love Is A Lie" is more hard-rockin' tune with a nice riff, "Take U Down With Me" & "You Bring Me Down" are ok tracks with nice heavy riffs but nothing outstandig here.In No 14 is the second mid-tempo/ballad of the album "Falling Into You" which is excellent!!!
Overall a good heavy metal album with some very good songs but nothing breathtakin' here! 7/10
