Having already released four albums, First Signal strikes back with album number five and this time with more power, a bigger sound and more aggressive than ever.
The first couple of tracks,"Unbreakable" and "Situation Critical", are pure delight; heavier, up-beat and with Harry Hess on top form the new album kicks-off with a bang!!! With "Shoot The Bullet" we have yet another killer tune out of the new opus; up-tempo, ultra-catchy, heavier but with a simply breathtaking melodic line that takes no prisoners! In "Always Be There", we are dealing with a more Harem Scarem-esque tune while in "Dominoes" we have again a true melodic hard rock highlight!! Heavy guitars, a tight as hell and thunderous rhythm section and there you have a true gem!!! Great stuff!! "Rain For Your Roses", "Face Your Fears" and "Not This Time" are all three excellent samples out of the 'new' vesion of First Signal!! I really loved the power ballad of "In The Name Of Love"which Hess's vocals really shines on there!!!
First Signal with their brand new "Face Your Fears" comes to deliver their best work since the classic debut! But this time Harry Hess and his gang (Marco Pastorino on guitar, Michele Guaitoli on bass and Marco Andreetto on drums) come with a heavier, more updated and an overall larger than life sound that the sure thing is that "Face Your Fears" will be a future classic!!!
