REVIEW : CRUZH, Tropical Thunder (Frontiers Music s.r.l. Release: 6 August 2021)

CRUZH is back!! Yes, the Swedish melodic rock/edgy AOR band of Cruzh strikes back with its brand new opus entitled "Tropical Thunder". The new release will see the light of day this August through Frontiers Music.

This time with a new singer, Alex Waghorn, and a new album Cruzh continues to deliver up-tempo, up-beat and edgy melodic rock stuff in a very old-fashioned way; and that means big and loud choruses, clever arrangements, crunchy guitars and, of course, this so sweet late 80's vibe combined with a more updated sound.

The first highlight of the new record comes with the up-beat and sing-a-long tune of "We Go Together".  The melodic anthem of "Turn Back Time" must be heard on a maximum volume while in "Cady" we have a very beautiful ballad that includes a soulful melody. "New York Nights", "All You Need" and "Paralyzed" are all some great samples of pure melodic rock stuff with attitude, tons of melodies and catchy hooks.

A great up-beat and extremely entairtaining album from start to finish!! Cruzh with their brand new "Tropical Thunder" comes to prove that as long as these bands continue to deliver albums like this the flame of rock 'n' roll will burn out forever!!!
