REVIEW : TYKETTO, Strenght In Numbers Live (Frontiers Music s.r.l., 8 November 2019 )

Legendary band of Tyketto is releasing nowadays a live record to celebrate their 25th anniversary of the release of the band's second opus "Strength In Numbers". Released back in 1994, in the middle of the grunge revolution, "Strength In Numbers" is still considered one of the best releases of a great era.

This is an overall great live record that capture the magic, the vibes and in general the unique sound of a great band. Also it stands proudly besides Tyketto's recent "Live In Milan" opus where the band performed from start to finish the classic debut "Don't Come Easy".

For those who grew up with Tyketto's music and albums it's unnecessary to say  about "Strength In Numbers" or even "Don't Come Easy". Two classic records, two gem of an albums that stood through the test of time and put TYKETTO to the pantheon of hard rock music.

"Strength In Numbers Live" is a solid live album all the way. The band performances are great and Danny Vaughn's vocals are awesome as always. Songs like "Meet Me In The Night", "Rescue Me", "The Last Sunset", "Catch My Fall" or one of my favorite tracks ever "The End Of The Summer Days" are classic, period. This album also contains the song "Wait Forever" which was written during the recording session of that album but the band never managed to record and release.

Tyketto brings back and wakes up great memories, once again, with yet another amazing live release.

Rating : 9,5/10
