WILD ROSE SIGN WITH AOR BLVD RECORDS

The original idea for Wild Rose was sprung in 2004 by Andy Rock. A lot of soul-searching was required initially, as it was essential to find a suitable line up to harness the stylish and polished mellow sound of a quality AOR Band. Finally, after two years and several line-up changes Wild Rose settled on the line-up today, introduced to an unsuspecting public back in 2006, with quality songs composed by Andy Rock. In 2007, Wild Rose released their first promo single CD entitled "It's All About Love" which contained the hard hitting title track and "Too Late", tracks that rapidly became accepted and loved by the AOR audience.

During the same period Wild Rose were picked up as support on Talisman's Farewell Tour in Hellas. At the beginning of 2008, two members took a break from Wild Rose to fulfil their military obligations. The band was put on hold for a while and Andy Rock continued to work on writing new material. They returned in mid-2009, recording a 10 track demo CD with tracks written by Andy Rock and Dirty Haris. These songs took on a maturity all of their own and ended up on the band's debut album “Half Past Midnight”, which was finally released on 10 October 2011 on Retrospect Records. This debut opus received blazing reviews in the AOR specific press and to promote the album the band followed this up by playing two shows in Athens and Thessaloniki to enthusiastic and overwhelming support from the Hellenic audiences!

In January 2012 Wild Rose participated in the "Brave New Love: A Tribute To Alien" project covering Alien's well known track "Feel My love". March 2012 and Wild Rose performed at the Rosewood Festival II along with bands like Newman, Work Of Art, Konkurent to name a few, receiving ecstatic reviews from the music press. Later on in 2012, the band worked on new songs and recorded their second album “Dangerous” which was released on 22 February 2013 on the AOR Heaven label. This release was produced & mixed by Andy Rock and co-produced by Wild Rose between December 2011 and September 2012 at WR Studios Thessaloniki, Hellas and is the first to feature the extraordinary voice of new main vocalist David A. Saylor (Push UK). Wild Rose “Dangerous” receives rave reviews worldwide from the press and in June 2013 hits No.1 on import sales in Japan (BURNN Magazine).

August 2013 and Wild Rose debut album “Half Past Midnight” hits Sold Out at Retrospect Records label. "CEO Retrospect Records / Sam McCaslin: I'm very happy to announce that the Wild Rose 'Half Past Midnight' CD is Officially Sold Out. Congratulations guys for being one of the Top Sellers ever in Retrospect's vast catalog. Great band , great music. Much respect to Andy Rock and crew for a job well done!" It's September 2013 and the band get into the studio to record their third album with new recruits, drummer Dimos Thomaidis along with singer David Saylor. Almost a year after its release and second album “Dangerous” is almost Sold Out at the AOR Heaven label.

So, now it's March 2014 and Wild Rose are back, signing once again with AorBlvd Records and celebrating Ten Years of existence with the release of their third album. This was recorded at EVO Studios, Evosmos, Hellas, except vocals recorded at Front Room Studios, Birmingham, U.K. with additional keyboards recorded at W2R Studios, Chios, Hellas between September 2013 and January 2014. This third album was mixed & produced by Andy Rock and mastered by George Aspiotis at Studio Aspiotis, Athens, Hellas and consists 11 stellar songs, pure AOR sound complete with glorious soaring melodies, catchy choruses, emotional vocals, lush keyboards, killer guitar riffs and powerhouse drums. And the story keeps on rocking...
