Los Angeles, CA
- Teen rocker, DIAMANTE, is taking over the indie scene and beyond with six
nominations at the Indie Music Channel Awards last weekend. DIAMANTE attended and
performed at the awards ceremony at the House of Blues on April 29th
where she took home four awards. Upon the arrival of her recently released
single "Panic!" her achievement could not have come at a better time.
The fireball performer is proving to be a star in her own right with fans all
over the country and music industry insiders taking notice.
The 15 year-old
east coast-native burned the brightest in the four categories including Best
Young Artist, Best Teen Pop Music Video with "Impossible," Best Rock Recording
with "Impossible," and Teen Artist of The Year. "It was such an honor to be part of the Indie Music Channel Awards.
It was the most amazing night of my life! Especially when I heard my name come
up as winner for Best Young Rock Artist, and Teen Artist of the Year, I was
ecstatic! Teen Artist of the Year was a big surprise; it was a special award I
did not know about until my name came up, just magical!" DIAMANTE
expressed.
The starlet,
whose name means diamond in Spanish, has been working hard this past year
rolling out a whirlwind of performances and dropping her first EP, Age of Rebellion and its lead single "Impossible." The album received significant recognition from fans
and critics alike reaching Top 40 Charts across the country.
She's rocked audiences at
venues such as the Avalon, Whisky A Go Go, ROXY Theatre, and
the Knitting Factory. Unlike most of her peers,
DIAMANTE portrays wisdom in poppy lyrics capturing hearts and ears of old and
young. With over 6,000 facebook fans, the powerhouse is wooing the nation with her
soulful edgy voice. Her current single "Panic!" is a public love letter about
trying to save a dying relationship. The radio-ready hit boasts
electric guitar harmonies and a passionate guitar solo paired with stellar
vocals and rhythmic drums. DIAMANTE's music is steadily making an impact on
music-lovers everywhere.
