JORN LANDE / DIO (2010)

This is the tribute album that Jorn Lande recorded for his passed away hero Ronnie James Dio. I always considered Mr. Lande as one of the best vocalists out there. His influences from David Coverdale to R. J. Dio were always more than obvious. So, after the tragic lost of Dio, Lande decided to record and release an album for this great musician.

The result is this superb album with songs that are a big chapter in the hard rock / metal history! It's really too difficult to say some words for each song about this album! There are 12 hymns plus a brand new song (Song for Ronnie James) which are all performed in a unique way and in a way that only Jorn Lande knows. Apart from Jorn Lande on lead vocals, the band consists of Willy Bendiksen on drums, Tore Moren on guitars, Jgor Gianola on guitars, Tor Erik Myhre on guitars and Nic Angileri on bass.

So for the fans of Dio this is a must have. But, also, for the fans of Jorn Lande this is also a great purchase. Most of all, this is a must have for all the lovers of hard and heavy music from a great artist who pays his dues for his idol.......R.I.P. DIO....
