WHITE LION / MANE ATTRACTION (1991)

This was White Lion's final chapter and for most of the fans, the band's best album to date! White Lion was a band that back then had it all. Attitude, a tight songwritting, a good performer, an amazing guitar player and a solid rhythm section. Album like their huge "Pride" is a classic of that era!

In this album you are going to find some really melodic gems! In my opinion, this effort has it all, from nice and emotional mid-tempos and ballads to some huge hard rockin' anthems or even some heavier ones!  Tracks such as the groovy "Leave Me Alone", which has a really 'cool' groove in it, the powerfull and heavy "Lights and Thunder" (one of my all time favorites), the difficult, for the White Lion standarts, "Warsong" and the good "She's Got Everything", plus the brilliant "Love Don't Come Easy" and the remake of the band's classic tune of "Broken Heart" are showing that this album was a damn fine piece of melodic hard rock, or hair metal, stuff! Also, two other superb tunes from this album are the commercial "It's Over", with a memorable chorus, and "Farewell To You"!

All in all, this is another superb release from White Lion. An album full of great choruses, passionate performances, excellent guitar work from Vito Bratta and an overall strong production. This is a must have for the fans of guitar driven U.S. Hard Rock sound. Highly recommended!
