After the average "Bounce" and the really bad "This Left Feels Right", Bon Jovi is back with "Have A Nice Day" in 2005. For me this album is one of the best albums that Bon Jovi have recorded since the "Keep The Faith" days! With Bon Jovi was always a love or hate 'em situation. I really like this band a lot, especially in their glory hey days. Albums like "Slippery When Wet " or "New Jersey" are classics in my book.
So, with this one the band is back to their hard rock days with also some very good AOR melodies and some modern rock sound as well. It's nice to see and hear that this band is tighter than ever and Richie Sambora is finaly playin' some interesting solos and riffs. " Have A Nice Day " is a fantastic track with a huge and memorable chorus line, a sure classic Bon Jovi tune in the near future. Other highlights of this album are the nice rocker "Last Man Standing", the super commercial tune of "Last Cigarette", the guitar driven "Complicated", the "Who Says You Can't Go Home" which is a feel-good track with a modern/country feel in it and "I Am". All in all this is a very interesting release from Bon Jovi, a kinda of back to their roots album with a modern twist.
