Skid Row / Revolutions Per Minute (2006)

Damn, it's too bad that one of my favourite bands ever and a band which was a huge influence for a whole scene has ended up this way! Ok, Sebastian Bach has left and ok their first album with Johnny Solinger as the lead singer was a good one with some really good tracks. But this one? Where are the big choruses? Where are the melodies and where is the unique sound of the past, or at least of their "Thickskin" album?
"Revolutions Per Minute"  is a punk album!!!! And I have to say that is a decent punk hard rock album and also Johnny Solinger sings his heart out in this one, but this ain't Skid Row! I'm not saying that the Skid's must go back to the 80's, it's good for the bands to experiment, I'm only saying that a good mix of their glory days with the new Skid Row sound it could be worked just fine. But hey, this is only my opinion.
So, listen before you buy!
