Place Vendome / Streets of Fire (2009)

This is an amazing album! "Streets of Fire" is the band's second album, after the very successful "Place Vendome " back in 2005. And I have to say that if you liked their debut album, you will also love this one!
The fact is that with musicians such as  Michael Kiske, Uwe Reitenauer and the mighty Dennis Ward, both from Pink Cream 69, you can't go wrong. The other members of the band are Kosta Zafiriou, also from Pink Cream 69, and Gunther Werno on keyboards.
The sound of the album is pure European melodic hard rock with some really huge melodies, very good vocal lines by Kiske, excellent songwritting and fantastic solos and riffs from  Uwe Reitenauer.
Some instant memorable tunes that 'grabs' you from the first spin and make you want some more and more. Highlight is the whole album and I think you can't find any weak song here. So, if you haven't heard this album yet, you are really missing a great melodic album which combines the glory melodic days of the 80's with some new elements and the result is awesome!
