Aldo Nova / Blood on the Bricks (1991)

This is a very good commercial hard rock album! Aldo Nova's fifth album "Blood On The Bricks" was a bit heavier than his previous works but for sure a pretty good one. Co-written by Jon Bon Jovi and also released by Jovi's Jambco label, "Blood On The Bricks" fits perfectly next to every Bon Jovi's earlier album.
Aldo Nova in this record shows his incredible skills and talent as a guitarist but also as a vocalist and a songwritter. Some very nice melodies along with some instant catchy rhythms and choruses, making this album very enjoyable. Highlights for me are the heavier opener track of "Blood on the Bricks", 'Hey Ronnie" which is a very beautiful mid-tempo song, the anthemic "Young Love " and "Touch of Madness ".
All in all this is a very interesting release and a big must have album for all the fans of earlier Bon Jovi works!
