Nineth studio album for Pretty Maids and this time the band goes a bit heavier than much of the band's '90s hard-rock sound. A very good release but for me not their best. But lets start from the positive things of the album. Ronnie Atkins sings his heart-out on this one with his powerfull and melodic voice. The production is big with a crystal sound and the guitar work by Mr. Ken Hammer is once again amazing! On the negative side of the album is the lack of some more big and catchy choruses and melodic hooks. I don't have a problem with the heavier direction of the album, but I would prefer more melodies. Highlights here are the fantastic hard-edged "Destination Paradise " with a catchy as hell chorus, the more commercial "Hell On High Heels ", "Only In America " and the beautiful tune of "With These Eyes ". All in all this is a very strong and heavier release from Pretty Maids.
