Bonfire / Fuel To The Flames (1999)

Even if a lot of people praise "Fuel To The Flames " as a very strong album and a back to their roots, for me this one didn't work! This time German melodic rockers Bonfire releasing an album which is heavier than their previous "Rebel Soul" but something is missing! But hey, this is only my opinion. In  "Fuel To The Flames " you can find some very good tracks such as the fantastic opener "Daytona Nights" (this one is one of the best that this band has ever recorded) , the anthemic back to their glory dayz "Don’t Go Changin’ Me" and the super "Heat in the Glow ". The rest of the album is a bit average and it seems that they are repeating themselves. Overall a good album with a couple of gems here!

  1. A really good release, even if it does not "sound" as their debut with BONFIRE's name. It looks like CACUMEN's stuff : some Roots touches, and "Happy" Hard Rock N'Roll.
