Gary Moore / Scars (2002)

Its nice to see that Gary Moore with this effort is back to his hard rock days! But hey, the blues are here also. Gary Moore has brought aboard some new blood in the interest of revitalizing his sound. With a strong rhythm section consisting of former Skunk Anansie bassist Cass Lewis and former Primal Scream drummer Darrin Mooney, Moore is surrounded by musicians who are talented enough to back a more raw and explosive hard rock sound. So what is going to hear in this album is a hard rockin' blues sound full of energy, full of amazing heavy riffs and  solos. Overall a different album in comparison with his earlier releases, but a very good one. Taste it!!
