I have never been a big Keel's fan, but I have to admit that they have released some very good albums like their self titled back in 1987 and their huge 'the right to rock'. So, nowdays they are back with a new album this year simply titled "Streets Of Rock N' Roll". This new effort is pure hard rock like it was written back in the 80's,no modern elements just pure hard rock. But after a few listenings I have the feeling that something is missing, I'm not saying that it's a bad record but I'm not convinced yet. There are some great tracks here like the fast paced 'Come Hell Or High Water', the Dokkenish 'No More Lonely Nights' with a killer chorus, my personal favourite feel-good anthemic tune 'Lookin' For A Good Time' and the more AORish track 'Live', again with a catchy chorus and very melodic.Overall is a good hard rock album, and if it had more 'attitude' it could be super!! The fact is that only few bands of the glory 80's in nowdays are playing hard rock like it used to be, so for this reason my rating is 7,5/10!
