REVIEW : TNT -- My Religion (2004)

Without no doubt this is the best album of 2004 and a fantastic comeback from one of the best heavy rock bands ever. "My Religion" sounds like a logical progression of "Intuition". The melodies, the arrangements, the inspiration, the performances....everything here is perfectly balanced.

Tony Harnell still has the range and the power in his voice and Ronnie Le Tekro's amazing guitar lines are giving to the final result a strong "push" that makes "My Religion" another gem in this band's discography !!

The clever and catchy as hell hooks and choruses along with Harnell' harmonic vocal lines creates a new masterpiece that will sound very familiar to those of you who have followed the band since their early glory days.

It's very difficult to pick a favorite tune out of this record cause each and every song of 'My Religion' is in one word awesome! But if I had to choose a few that would be "Invisible Noise", the commercial with the ultra-catchy chorus line "She Needs Me", "Give Me A Sign" and "Everybody's Got A Secret".

All in all this is a sensational purchase for every melodic hard rock fan out there. TNT delivers a strong lesson of how a melodic hard rock/metal album should sound. For sure a future classic!
