Released in 1988, Point Blank was the followup to Bonfire's breakthrough album Fireworks and it surpassed all expectations.Some big influences from the 80's U.S.scene here without loosing their european hard rock sound. "Bang Down the Door" and "Waste No Time" are two guitar-driven melodic rock anthems with huge choruses, "Hard On Me " has some nice keyboards in the intro as well and slows down just a bit to a more mid-tempo level. "Why is it Never Enough" is a very good typical 80's ballad. "You're Back " is a heavy placed rocker and "Say Goodbye " is another feel-good anthemic rocker.Point Blank is one of the best Melodic Hard Rock albums ever made. 9,5/10Tracks 1.
