Bad Moon Rising is the band number two for the successfull duo Doug Aldrich and Kal Swan. With their first band Lion the band showed a fine piece of melodic metal. This time with BMR the sound is more hard rock with some blues elements. The songwriting is perfect once again and the guitar work by Doug Aldrich is amazing. "Old Flames " is a fantastic ballad while "DarkSide Of Babylon" , "Full Moon Fever ", "Sunset After Midnight " and "Hands On Heaven " are great hard rock tunes. All in all this is a great hard rock album with a great musicians and fantastic serious hard rock songs. A band that could be huge. Fans of Fifth Angel, Whitesnake, Lion.....buy this album. 10/10
