Fair Warning / Fair Warning (1992)

This is a very good debut album from this German band. In the vain of Scorpions (more commercial), Pink Cream 69 but also with some U.S. elements, Fair Warning's debut effort achieved to shake the rock scene. Great guitar work from the duo of Helge Engelke and Andy Malecek with some really inspired solos and riffs, a tight musicianship and a singer with such a strong voice, Fair Warning with this album started their way to the top. But the fact is that even if they had it all to become a really huge name in the melodic hard rock scene, they didn't made it, at least in Europe. They become a really big name in Japan! For me this album is, maybe, their best to date. It has incredible melodies, catchy and memorable choruses and a guitar work which leaves you breathless!!
Highlights here? Hmmm...once again is very difficult to pick up a song as a favourite of mine from this album because I just love every single damn track from 'Fair Warning'. So, bottom line is that if you are looking for some really strong hard rock album with attitude, this is the right one!
