Fair Warning / Rainmaker (1995)

Album No 2 for Fair Warning and once again a very good one with some really excellent tracks. Fair Warning continues from where their debut stopped. Pure melodic hard rock songs, excellent guitars, catchy melodies and some really strong performances from Tommy Heart. A bit more commercial sound here than in their debut but the final result will please every melodic hard rock fan. 'The Heart of Summer' which opens the album is a very good track with a catchy melody and a pretty good way to start 'Rainmaker'. 'Burning Heart' is the first huge moment here. An excellent tune with such a strong chorus line and some really cool guitar work. 'Get a Little Closer' is a more commercial tune and has a nice groove. 'Pictures of Love' is my second favourite one from 'Rainmaker'. It is an anthemic one and has a feel good vibe. 'Stars and the Moon' is another one great track. Overall this is a very interesting album from Fair Warning.
