REVIEW : Rockett Love, Greetings From Rocketland (AOR Heaven, Release: 30 August 2019)

Rockett Love is a band that was founded back in 2015 and only two years later released its debut opus with the title "Grab The Rocket" through AOR Heaven. Nowadays, the band strikes back with album number two entitled "Greetings From Rocketland" (again through AOR Heaven).

Stefan Westerlund comments: “This time the songs are for real, no compromises. Erik (Eclipse, W.E.T., Nordic Union) has done a fantastic job and we feel strongly about the album and what he did to the material. Now it’s up to the listeners to take it to their hearts. “Greetings From Rocketland” is a classic record full of great and melodic rock songs.

The new record kicks-off with the up-tempo, edgy and superb rocker of "Back On My Feet". For damn sure, this rocker is a kinda of a great appetizer of what's to expect from "Greeting From Rocketland". "Bite The Bullet" continues with the same energy, the same heavy riffing and the same passion to show us that Rockett Love is back to make some noise. "I Want Out" includes more melody and a catchier hook n' chorus line enough to make you sing-a-long. "Take Me Home" is a very interesting power ballad while in "King For One Day" the band delivers yet another killer melodic hard rock gem out of the new opus. "Reaching Out", "Wait" and "A Heart Without A Soul" are all three very good samples of Rocket Love's music.

Overall, Rockett Love with their brand new album are back for good! Edgy, melodic and solid hard rock stuff that includes some excellent riffing, catchy hooks n' choruses and killer songs! Sweet stuff!

Rating : 8,5/10
