This hard 'n' heavy metal band's adventure comes to an end with this fifth full-length effort and, in my humble opinion, this is probably the band's best release to date!! And even Fatal Smile were one of those acts that started the New Wave Of Swedish Metal (along with Crashdiet, Crazy Lixx e.t.c.), they were always heavier and more in-your-face than the above mentioned bands; a kinda of sleaze horror metal.
The opening tune of "White Trash Heroes" is a heavy, powerful and typical Fatal Smile tune while in "Like A Rockstar" we have a more commercial song with attitude and an explosive chorus line that takes no prisoners with! Simply stunning! "Dirty Little Secret" is yet another killer track! It includes a heavy groove, an 80's hard rock vibe and of course a memorable chorus line. "I'm The Gun" is like a punch in the stomach; a thunderous riffing, bad-ass vocal performances and cool lyrics in this impressive tune. Other highlights here are the 'clever' "Hip MF", "Gave It All" and the catchy "Heartache And Pain".
"White Trash Heroes" comes to prove that Fatal Smile is a very good band and it will be missed, that's sure. The curtain closes but these guys achieved to put their mark in the hard 'n' heavy world and released some really solid albums. If you are a fan of this band, then go out and buy this album. But for those who like their metal ass-kickin' with attitude and with some in-your-face performances, then look no further. Check it out!
