The album starts with the heavy in-your-face "Love Bites(So Do I). This is a 'modern' heavy rocker that takes no prisoner! Sharp guitars (in some parts reminds me of some 80's, early 90's heavy metal bands), aggressive vocals and a chorus line that blows your mind. A real impressive start here! The next song, "Mz. Hyde" moves into some groovier paths without loosing its aggressivity with, again, a fantastic chorus! "I Miss The Misery" is a modern rocker with a monsterous riff, great arrangements and a pumpin' drum line. A future air play for the rock clubs!! "Freak Like Me" has a pissed-off feeling while in "Beautiful With You" it's time for some laid back tune. "In Your Room" is one of the albums highlights! It is an emotional song with great performances and a huge harmony!! I just love this one!! The same goes for the next track, "Break In". It's time for some rockier tune again with "Rock Show", "Daughters Of Darkness" and the stadium rocker "You Call Me A Bitch Like It's A Bad Thing". "American Boys" is a good song and the album closes with the simply stunning tune of "Here's To Us". A mind blowing mid-tempo rocker with a feel-good vibe!!
I think that to write something more is useless; as you can all asume I just loved this album and enjoyed every single minute of "The Strange Case Of...". For the fans of 'modern' hard rock with great melodies, powerfull performances, solid guitar work and catchy as hell tracks, this release is for you!!! F$%kin' brilliant!!!
