Bonfire / Fire Works (1987)

Bonfire has a unique history. Currently there are two bands who have held the name. The original group started out as Cacumen, became Bonfire and currently perform as Charade. The second group began as Lessmann/Ziller and then purchased the rights to the Bonfire name, which they have used ever since.

This is the second release of Bonfire, originaly released in 1987. A real stunning release of 80's hard rock. Huge anthemic choruses, heavy but still melodic riffs and solos and  unique vocal harmonies by Claus Lessmann. Every single track here is perfect, from the fantastic track which opens the album "Ready 4 Reaction " to "Champion " and "American Nights ", every tune gives to the listener something special. All in all this is a must have album for every hard rock fan out there.

  2. I think, this album and "Point Black" were Bonfire's best efforts. And don't forget the "Live...The Best " which was a damn good one too!! :-)
