For the Days Like These release, Taglieri collaborated with Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp, Elton John, Bob Seger, etc), Alan Jax Bowers (Parrot Bay, Rachel Allyn) , Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean, Ludacris, Kelly Clarkson, etc), Lee Turner (Darius Rucker, Sara Evans, Big and Rich), Eric Ragno (Alice Cooper, Paul Stanley, Billy Gibbons, etc), Joe Gilder, Greg Juliano (Juliano Brothers), Chad Cunningham and Keith Lubrant (whose music you have heard on TV shows such as Real Housewives of Miami, Beavis and Butthead, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Young and the Restless and dozens more).
So, this 6-track record includes plenty of melodies, up-tempo rhythms, beautiful harmonies and a feel-good vibe that makes the final result a very enjoyable ride through TAGLIERI's world. The opening tune of "Days Like These" is simply breathtaking; an up-tempo rocker that takes you to heaven with its amazing harmony and its ultra catchy chorus to whistle for days!! "Here For The Taking" has a Bon Jovi-esque vibe in it, it's movin' to some more modern melodic rock paths and grabs you at once!! In "Beautiful Tonight" we are dealing with a great pop-rock gem while in "Thin Air" we have a beautiful, more laid-back mid-tempo song. Brilliant!!! Next, the acoustic "Finish Line" has a so sweet harmony to go to the last one, "Toasting The Man In The Moon", which closes this solid EP in a such a good way. Another killer edgy modern rocker with attitude!!
Bottom line is that John Taglieri with this 6-track EP put a smile upon my face. Enjoyable, beautiful music, well-crafted songs that makes you wanna listen it over and over again. "If everyone had days like these the world would be a much happier place."
