REVIEW : FIND ME ---- Angels in Blue (Frontiers Music s.r.l., Release: 22 February 2019)

FIND ME is the result of the collaboration between the very talented musician, songwriter and producer Daniel Flores (Issa, The Murder of My Sweet) and the extraordinary singer Robbie LaBlanc from Blanc Faces. The band has already released two gems of pure melodic rock paradise and nowadays (22nd of February) is about to unleash its brand new masterpiece with the title "Angels In Blue" through Frontiers Music s.r.l.

As I mentioned above, Find Me released two amazing and pure melodic rock records that, in my book, are both already classics. "Angels In Blue" is movin' to the same melodic rock/edgy AOR paths of the band's previous recordings and that means soaring n' passionate vocals, amazing guitar lines, killer songs and a crystal clear production. Apart from LaBlanc and Flores in "Angels In Blue", we, also, find  Michael Palace (Lead guitars and rhythm guitars on “Can't Let Go” and “Only The Lonely”), Philip Lindstrand (Rhythm guitars), Marcus Nygren (State of Salazar in Backing vocals on Straight For Eternity), Joan Thuresson (State of Salazar, Guitar solo on Straight For Eternity), Sören Kronquist (Keyboards) and Johnny Trobro (Bass).

The first three songs that open "Angels In Blue" (No Tears In Paradise, Chain Of Love and True Believer) are all three just perfect melodic rock at its highest order! All three are pure melodic rock paradise and the sure thing is that all three are gonna make you push the repeat button again and again!! It's really unnecessary to say that the hooks and choruses will make you sing-a-long! Imagine the perfect mix between Giant, The Signal and a 'softer' Eclipse and you'll get the picture. Excellent stuff!

The edgier and keyboard-driven "Straight For Eternity" sound like another highlight out of the new opus while in "One Last Kiss" we have a really superb ballad. So emotional and with a breathtaking melody in it "One Last Kiss" sounds like a song that jumped out straight from the mid 80's AOR scene. "Angels In Blue", "Show Me What You'd Die For" and the cover of Survivor's big hit "Desperate Dreams" are all killers!!!

Find Me is back with album number three, "Angels In Blue", and yes it's yet another killer one. Melodies to die for, excellent musicianship, timeless songs, heart-full performances and with a classic 80's AOR vibe to 'haunt' the final result this album is in one word paradise!!!! For sure, Find Me is a band that will make Survivor, Giant and Journey very very proud!!

Rating : 10/10
