Survivor / When Seconds Count (1986)

Another one very good release from Survivor! "When Seconds Count" released after two years from their huge album "Vital Signs ". It's an album that has it all, great melodies, very good guitar work, it's radio friendly ,it has an up-tempo feeling and it's one of my favourite Survivor albums.
The album starts with the fantastic "How Much Love", an upbeat tune, like most of the tracks in this effort. Another stand out track is the "Man Against The World". A mid-tempo/ballad track with a very strong and emotional chorus. a really huge track. "Rebel Son" starts slowly and then picks up speed with an 80's feeling in all over the song, a great track. "When Seconds Count" and  "Can't Let You Go" are two of my favourite tracks from this album, both with great melodies. Overall "When Seconds Count " is a great AOR album full of great melodies. A must buy!
