Pretty Maids / Scream (1995)

1995 and Pretty Maids releasing "Scream" album. After the acoustic laid-back album "Stripped" in 1993, it's time for a heavier album again. Some really heavy tracks here with "big" heavy guitar sound, pounding bass lines and the strong vocals by Ronnie Atkins plus some ass-kickin' drum sound and you have "Scream"!! So, from the one hand we have the heavier songs such as "Rise " which opens the albums with an impressive way, the aggressive " Psycho-Time-Bomb-Planet-Earth " and "Adrenalin Junkie" among others. From the other hand we have the mid-tempos/ballads , a strong point for the band. Songs like "Walk Away" & "Anytime Anywhere " are a fine example of what this band is capable to do concerning the slower tunes. Both tracks have nice melodies and choruses full of  emotional vocals of  Ronnie Atkins. All in all this is a very good release and a must buy for fans of  Pretty Maids ,Axxis and Pink Cream 69.
