REVIEW : Riffocity --- Under A Mourning Sky (2018)

My latest discovery is a band that is called Riffocity. A thrashy metal band that hailed from Serres, North Greece. Having already released an EP in 2017 (Disciples Of The Storm), the band strikes back with its debut album with the title "Under A Morning Sky".

HATETYLER / Vidia (2014)

In 2012, the Italian metal band of Hatetyler presented their debut effort "The Great Architect". In that album, Hatetyler mixed the thrash scene of the 80's with a modern twist but, also, some progressive elements as well and the result was pretty good. And as I said back then, I liked their debut even though the 'aggressive', sometimes brutal, vocals are not my cup of tee.

ANTHRAX / WORSHIP MUSIC (2011)

ANTHRAX is one of the most well-known Thrash bands, an 80's dinosaur, but, also, a member of the Big Four Tour (along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer which is a kind of club exclusively for the four famous and media extreme musical legends. Well, to be honest, I'm not a specialist of this music wave and I'm not addicted either. But sometimes, I can really appreciate some gems and bands from this scene. This is the case with ANTHRAX and their latest effort "Worship Music".
