REVIEW : BEAST IN BLACK --- BERSERKER (Nuclear Blast, 2017)
I know that I'm a bit late here 'cause Beast In Black already released a second album, but as they say; better late than never. So, Beast In Black with this debut album titled "Berserker" back in 2017 offered an amazing modern melodic metal album, no doubt about that. Beast In Black was formed by the very talented guitarist/composer Anton Kabanen (ex-BATTLE BEAST).

REVIEW : DYNAZTY --- FIRESIGN (AFM RECORDS, 2018)
For sure DYNAZTY is consider of one of the best modern melodic metal bands out there, no doubt 'bout that! They formed back in 2008 and one year later, 2009, they released their debut opus with the title "Bring The Thunder". A damn solid debut that was more hard rock than melodic metal. After that DYNAZTY added a 'touch' of hardness in each release without loosing the big melodies or the catchiness.

REVIEW : Maxxwell --- Metalized (21 September 2018)
Damn, this is a great record!!! So up-lifting, so powerful and so in-your-face!!! But let's take things from the start. Maxxwell is a band that comes from Switzerland and "Metalized" is entitled its brand new, and already fourth. full-length album. Thanks to the strength of the band’s last album, “Tabula Rasa“, they played as support on tours with Michael Schenker’s Temple Of Rock, Doro, Kissin’ Dynamite, Rage & Shakra and support slots for Within Temptation, Extreme, Gloryhammer – just to name a few. In their almost 10-year career, MAXXWELL have performed in over two hundred shows.

REVIEW : CRYONIC TEMPLE --- Deliverance (Scarlet Records , 20 July 2018 )
Sweden is not only famous for the Hard Rock/AOR bands. It's, also, well-known for its melodic power metal acts such as Sabaton, Civil War, Astral Doors, Twilight Force and, of course, Cryonic Temple. Cryonic Temple is a veteran in this particular scene and has already released five albums. Nowadays, it strikes back with its brand new opus with the title "Deliverance" through Scarlet Records.

REVIEW : Crystal Tears --- “Decadence Deluxe” (Pride & Joy Music , 2018)
First of all and before starting my review of this new record by Crystal Tears, allow me to say that this is my first ever 'meeting' with this band. Yes, I know that I should be ashame 'cause Crystal Tears is a band that is in the music business for many years now and "Decadence Deluxe" is, already, their fourth official release!!!! Pretty impressive I would dare to say.

REVIEW : AMARANTHE / MAXIMALISM (2016)
Amaranthe is a band that is a love or hate situation. I mean that either you love this band or you completely hate them!! There's no other thing, period. For me it's a love thing. Since a heard a couple of songs from their huge debut release, their music grabbed me. The choruses, the hooks, the amazing guitars and, of course, Elize Ryd impressed me at once!!!

REVIEW : TEMPERANCE / The Earth Embraces Us All (2016)
As a big fan of the Italian band Temperance, I'm delightful to present you the review of their brand new record which is entitled "The Earth Embraces Us All". The new opus is without any doubt the band's most mature work to-date. And as Chiara Tricarico, singer, commented: “This is without any doubt the most complex and mature album we’ve ever done. It basically gave us the chance to add many new elements to our music".

The Silent Rage is a melodic metal band that was originally formed by Nikos Siglidis back in 2006. The band's debut EP record, "The Silent Rage", was released in 2009 and gained a positive feedback by fans and press. Two years later it was the time for another EP album with the title "Harvester Of Souls".

REVIEW : TOXIC ROSE / Total Tranquility (2016)
Back in 2012, I received the promo of a band called Toxic Rose for a review in Heavy Paradise. And even though it was a short EP, it was a mind blowing stuff that included some bad-ass performances, tight as hell songs that recalled to Crashdiet, early Motley Crue and Faster Pussycat's music, hellish guitars and a solid production. So, I was looking forward to the band's next step, a full-length album.

REVIEW : Innfight / Boulevard Of Pain (2015)
The story of INNFIGHT started at the end of the year 2013 in Mannheim, Germany. Sascha Wagner (guitar) and Michael Heck (keys), who have both been friends for a long time, decided to start writing songs together. Frank Widderson – Vocals (ex-Virus) and Joachim Werry – Drums joined and the band started recording their debut-CD "Boulevard of pain" with Rolf Munkes (Crematory, Tony Martin, Empire) at Empire Studios in the city of Bensheim (a county of Hessen), Germany.

REVIEW : CAIN'S OFFERING / Stormcrow (2015)
CAIN’S OFFERING is the brainchild of Finnish guitarist/songwriter Jani Liimatainen (founding member of Sonata Arctica). Cain's Offering is moving perfectly balanced between hard rock, melodic power metal and modern metal and, at the end, achieves to be included as another perfect example of today's living and breathing Finnish music scene.
