MR.BIG / LEAN INTO IT (1991)

This is a classic album. Mr. Big's second album and this time the boys are offering their best effort to date. Huge melodies, big sing-a-long choruses, amazing and inspired solos and riffs from a great guitar player and top notch performances. Everything in this album seems to be in perfect balance!

The album starts of in a perfect way with "Daddy, Brother, Lover Little Boy(the drill song)". A huge guitar driven track which shows that Mr.Big are hungry for some serious heavy rock stuff! "Alive And Kickin'" is an anthemic up-tempo track with a catchy chorus line. "Green Tinted Sixties Mind" is a more commercial tune and a band's big hit-single. "Lucky This Time" is a song that was written with Jeff Paris and it's a harder edged heavy rocker at it's best! "Voodoo Kiss" has some bluesier touches while "Never Say Never" is again an up-tempo rocker and one of my personal favorite from this album! And it's time for the first ballad of "Lean Into It". "Just Take My Heart" is an impressive ballad with passionate performances and probably one of the best songs that this band has ever recorded! "My Kinda Of Woman" and "Little To Loose" are both superb pieces of melodic hard rock music of a great era. "Road To Ruin" is a brilliant heavy rock tune and "To Be With You" is....."To Be With You", one of the most played Mr. Big songs ever!

All in all this is a classic album from a great band! A big must have for everyone!
