This is a very good melodic hard rock album and again from the new label Avenue Of Allies!!
About ten years ago Dave "Rox", the lead singer, discovered his passion for singing and to improve his skills he turned to Michele Luppi, who besides being a member of various bands, formerly of the Power Metal band Vision Divine and currently of the Melodic Metal act Killing Touch and the AOR project Los Angeles, is also active as a vocal coach. So, together with Michele Luppi and Roberto Priori they create a fantastic album with some really big melodies, catchy choruses and imrpressive vocal harmonies.
Ok, the influences from bands such as Danger Danger, Firehouse or even Bon Jovi are more than obvious but it really don't bother me at all because the final result sounds very fresh and enjoyable. It looks like this new record label, Avenue Of Allies, is doin' an excellent job and with releases like Wheels Of Fire, Shining Line, Skill In Veins and others like these, will be the next 'hot' name in the melodic rock world market. Highlights here? Hmmm...it's very difficult cause every track here rocks big time. Everything here is perfectly balanced. From rockers to ballads and back again everything sounds very good. Taste it!
